It occurred to me the other day…
That Judaism has produced two religions based on Judaism that is in many ways anti-Jew. So lets examine that for a moment (and excuse me if I’m insensitive but you know what, I don’t care); the Christian faith is based on Jewish folklore, produced by Jewish folklore (Old Testament) and by a Jew (Jesus). Ironically what Jesus wanted was to reconfigure Judaism for the Jews (as himself as the savior) and if you are a Christian than you have to admit that you believe that the Jews were the chosen people (I’m not saying that you believe they are today here and now) and that Jesus was God on earth. Don’t you find it a little funny that God (this all knowing omnipresent powerful being) couldn’t even convince his own chosen people? I’m not a religious expert (although I do think about this stuff a lot) but I just find it funny that this God who has a plan (don’t even get me started on that) ended up making two religions that have literally hated His so called chosen people. Maybe I’m missing something but it doesn’t seem like a very good plan to me…
